Over the past 8 years, hundreds of students have attended our after school clubs & holiday workshops in East Surrey & West Sussex.

Meet your

team

Sophy Chapman | Founder

Sophy is a Surrey based teacher and performer who has been working with children for 12 years. After graduating from KSA Academy of Performing Arts with a Trinity Diploma in Musical Theatre, Sophy began teaching singing, dancing and acting between auditions.

In January 2016, Sophy founded SCTA Theatre Academy with the aim of delivering high quality musical theatre training in an enjoyable and exciting way.Sophy is passionate about inspiring young performers and creating the next generation of actors, singers and dancers.

Tom Chown | Club leader

Tom is an actor and teacher based in Sussex.

As a teenager, Tom was a member of multiple youth theatres and took part in a number of performances with them before going on to study Drama and English at the University of Sussex. Tom has been working with children for four years and enjoys passing on his passion for performing. Tom teaches and assists with a number SCTA clubs, and looks forward to helping aspiring performers to achieve their potential.
